Here, you can see the effect of being unfriendly in Petaluma, with policies in place to bilk citizens and visitors alike in the short term with speed traps, parking tickets and jaywalking tickets. Consumers, probably even our own citizens, are shoping in other towns. Healdsburg collects a whopping $26,000 per-citizen, while we're stuck at half that amount - just $13, 88 per citizen. Thepublic focus on pedestrian and bicycle "crimes" doesn't pay off, or make our town any safer.
